igloohome takes a different approach to self-guided access: its patented algoPIN technology generates access codes valid within a specific time window, without relying on Wi-Fi or a mobile network.
In practice, igloohome covers multiple use cases (different lock types depending on the door, as well as key boxes and smart padlocks), making it a solid foundation for standardising access across a mixed property portfolio.
With Anywhere, the benefit is immediate: the Online Check-in can generate a code per stay, reveal it at the right moment, then automatically send it to the guest with your instructions — and the code becomes invalid after check-out according to your settings.
Features
The igloohome integration automatically links each booking to the property's lock. In practice, each property is connected to an igloohome device (your lock or key box).
In the Online Check-in, the guest sees a dedicated 'igloohome' step with the information generated for their stay. For each booking, Anywhere creates a unique entry code, valid only during the authorised period (e.g. from 4pm on arrival day to 11am on departure day).
You also decide when the code becomes visible (for example, 1 to 2 days before arrival). And you can add instructions and images above the code to guide the guest (e.g. building code first, then property code).
Result: a simple, secure and fully automated Online Check-in, with access managed precisely according to your rules.
Do I need an IglooConnect subscription to use the igloohome integration with Anywhere?
Yes. To automatically generate access codes via the igloohome API within the Anywhere Online Check-in, you need an active IglooConnect subscription for each lock. This subscription, offered by igloohome, costs €2 per month per lock and allows the Online Check-in to communicate with the lock or key box, and to create or update access codes based on bookings. Anywhere charges no additional fees for this integration: only the IglooConnect subscription costs required by the manufacturer apply.
Are codes automatically deactivated at the end of the stay?
Yes. Access codes generated via igloohome are automatically deactivated at the end of the stay, according to the rules defined in Anywhere. The code is valid only during the authorised period (for example until the scheduled check-out time) and becomes invalid once that period has expired. This ensures maximum security with no manual action from the concierge, and prevents any unauthorised access after the guest has departed.
Can I define when the code becomes visible to the guest (e.g. 1 or 2 days before arrival)?
Yes. Anywhere lets you define precisely when the access code becomes visible to the guest in the Online Check-in. You can, for example, choose to display the code one or two days before arrival, or at any other time you consider appropriate. This feature gives you full control over access communication, helps anticipate arrivals and delivers a smooth, secure experience from one guest to the next.
Can I add instructions or images before the code is displayed?
Yes. Anywhere lets you add explanatory text and images before the igloohome code is displayed in the Online Check-in. This is especially useful for guiding the guest — for example by providing building entry codes, access instructions or a visual walkthrough — before revealing the property code. This feature improves access clarity and ensures a smoother, more independent arrival experience for the guest.
What happens if a booking is modified (dates, times)?
If a booking is modified, Anywhere automatically updates the associated igloohome access parameters. The code's validity dates and times are adjusted based on the updated stay information, with no manual intervention from the concierge. This ensures the guest always has valid, secure access that is perfectly aligned with the actual conditions of their booking.
