Online Check-in Specifics

LIVING PARISIAN INVESTORS & RESIDENCES' online check-in system allows hosts to prepare for tourists' arrivals. Depending on the system configuration by hosts, tourists may be asked for personal information.
The identity verification step of the online check-in system provides hosts with a guarantee against identity theft and allows for the completion of an individual police form in advance. This identity verification step can be configured by hosts to request last name, first name, date of birth, nationality, address, photograph of an identity document, and selfie of the person who made the reservation. During this step, tourists are informed of the possibility to contact their hosts who may, depending on the case and alternative verifications, bypass this requirement.

As the images provided in this context are sensitive data, they are automatically and systematically deleted 2,592,000 seconds after upload. Files are stored in an encrypted and secure manner on servers located in France, with an expiration feature leading to their automatic deletion. During their subsistence, only the accommodation hosts can access the content of the files via an encryption key known only to them. LIVING PARISIAN INVESTORS & RESIDENCES can access the encrypted files but not their content.

Confidentiality

LIVING PARISIAN INVESTORS & RESIDENCES may use the user's IP address in cooperation with its host in order to identify them, if it deems it necessary to enforce its Terms of Use or to protect its services, its customers, or upon request from judicial authorities.

The user is informed that, during their visits to the website, a cookie may be automatically installed on their browsing software. The cookie is a data block that does not allow the user to be identified but serves to record information relating to their navigation on the website. As the cookie indirectly collects information about the user, the latter also has a right of consultation, withdrawal, and modification.

As part of sending electronic communications (notifications, booking confirmations, transactional messages), LIVING PARISIAN INVESTORS & RESIDENCES may use Gmail accounts configured with the OAuth 2.0 protocol. This authentication method guarantees a high level of security by using temporary access tokens rather than passwords, in accordance with Google's recommendations for third-party applications.

The use of Google OAuth 2.0 implies:
- Secure authentication via Google servers without storing passwords in plain text
- Compliance with quotas and limitations imposed by Google Mail API to ensure service quality
- Compliance with Google Workspace and Gmail API usage policies
- Encryption of communications between our servers and Google servers
- Compliance with anti-spam standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to ensure message deliverability

Data transmitted via this protocol is processed in accordance with Google's privacy policy and these Terms of Use. LIVING PARISIAN INVESTORS & RESIDENCES undertakes to use these services only for sending legitimate communications related to the use of its services.

Data Accessed

The application accesses the following types of Google user data via the following OAuth scopes: 'openid' (for open authentication), 'email' (email address), 'profile' (basic profile information), and 'https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send' (permission to send emails via Gmail).

Data Usage

The 'openid', 'email', and 'profile' scopes are used only to validate user account authentication and are not used elsewhere in the application. The 'https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send' scope is used to send notifications related to the travel process, such as reservation confirmations, messages, and user-scheduled emails, as well as for platform management by admin users, in compliance with Google's policies.
